Not yet.Īll that being said, it seems time for one more swim in the deep end of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure pool to list the very best moments from Diamond is Unbreakable. I already spilled all my squishy, sparkly feelings on how much it means to me, its transcendent qualities, the weight of its below-the-surface themes and how outside media can learn a thing or two from its presentation and construction - but I’m not finished. (Even Maude did it over on our YouTube channel!) Indulging in the media moments that made you feel something outside yourself can be quite addictive, and I’m not entirely ready to give up looking back - even a few days into the new year! And as you all know by now, I am absolutely head-over-feet obsessed with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (I’m even starting a JJBA podcast with Brad, our Games Editor) - especially this year’s fourth part, Diamond is Unbreakable. With the end-of-year reflections and retrospectives having been poured out like the champagne we popped as the ball drops, it’s difficult to resist the urge to reminisce on favourite shows, films, games and books of the year. Or something that I can quit at all, to be quite honest. I know I said I’d shut up about JoJo, but the adorable anime isn’t something I can just cold-quit.
